Isn’t it just the CSS in the template you’re using? It should be a pretty easy fix. Contact me if you can’t get it, and I’ll take a look. Watch me look like a total jackass - I’ve never used WordPress, and there are all these people on Craigslist asking for help with it, so I could use the chance to learn. I guess what I’m saying is, I’ll help, if I don’t have to leave me house.

to clarify - for those who will help find a solution - the problem isn’t the spacing between lines, which is easy to change… it’s specifically getting the line breaks and paragraph breaks to work correctly (i.e. single return for line break & double for paragraph break OR single for paragraph break and shift return for line break). The CSS for this theme is really weird, and I’ve tried adjusting every possible variable. I finally got paragraph breaks (which weren’t working at all before) to work by tweaking the php in the template file, but can’t figure out the line break part.

Lori, you should also try contacting the person who wrote the theme if no one else can fix this. They have a contact form at: http://gotchance.com/contact/

shift + return will give you a normal space, return by itself gives you that extra space/line in between rows of letters.

Already tried that Beehive! Doesn’t work with this template.
